Dell Dimension 8100 1.7Ghz
Question:

I have a Dell Dimension 8100 with Pentium 4 1.7 ghz and 512MB PC 800 RDRAM PN # 461-0883. The machine is running slow. I have been told that adding more RAM will speed it up. What do you have that I can add? I saw the machine has 4 RAM slots 2 are empty.
Answer:

All of our  PC800-45 RDRAM is compatible with your computer.
At a minium you should be running 1GB of memory. Our  512mb (2x256) PC800-45 RDRAM upgrade can be added in addition to your current 512mb of memory for a total of 1GB. Our  1GB (2x512) PC800-45 RDRAM is also available which would be total of 1.5GB.

Again all of this memory is guaranteed compatible and can be returned for any reason.
