Gateway 700s 2.26Ghz PC800-40 Maximum memory
Question:

I have a Gateway 700S with an Intel Pentium 4 Processor at 2.26 GHz with 512 Cache and 533 MHz Front Side Bus.  My current memory is 256MB RDRAM PC800 at 40 ns and is expandable to 2GB which I assume would be 512 MB for each of the 4 slots.
Answer:

All of our PC800-40 RDRAM is compatible with the 700S, including our  512mb (2x256) PC800-40 RDRAM and  1GB (2x512) PC800-40 RDRAM  which can be installed along side your current memory.

This memory is all guaranteed compatible, is in stock, and can be returned for any reason.
